Early Diagnosis
Young children who are at risk for Autism can sometimes be identified as early as 12 to 18 months of age. Most children with Autism are diagnosed by the time they are 3 years old. If you are concerned about your child’s development, contact your pediatrician. Early diagnosis allows for early treatment. While children can always make progress, early intervention for children with developmental disabilities can greatly improve outcomes.
