Our head preschool teachers, Tanya and Vicky, are also seasoned ABA therapists, an amazing advantage to the children included in our preschool program. This week, the assistant teachers are taking part in a verbal behavior mand training workshop taught by Gail. The teachers will have the opportunity to learn the science behind our strategies, and hone their mand training skills. This training will enable each member of the preschool staff to better serve the included children in the program.
Meanwhile, Lynn and Tanya are working hard in Red Cross First Aid and CPR Instructor Training. This training will allow Lynn and Tanya to train and certify others in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR… a service that the Center has previously outsourced. This summer the entire Center staff will renew their First Aid and CPR certification. Classes will also be offered to Center families… stay tuned!
